ARBIT is an European project that aims to explore the applicability of an innovative augmented reality (AR) system, called Pictogram Room
It is designed to facilitate the training of basic skills for the development of body language and imitation in students with autism and intellectual disability. Both skills are considered essential to promote social competence, an area of high difficulty for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Voice Kids (Led by GLIC Association Italy)

The VoiceKids project aims to develop a voice-based communication tool to support children with communication difficulties. The project focuses on creating an accessible, user-friendly solution that enables children to express themselves, interact socially, and improve their communication skills in educational and daily life settings.

Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship Proposal

DigiTrale

During the 3rd and the 4th of July 2023, a-STEP organized the first Training School “Building bridges with participatory research” at the University of Elbasan, Aleksandr Xhuvani. This training school brought together Gokhan Ozgan, PhD from Turkiye and Merita Hoxha, PhD, from Albania who explored funding opportunities for the research project “DigiTrale” for which they applied in February 2024 for the Erasmus-Edu-2024-CBHE call. The aim of this project was to leverage digital technology to augment language education in higher education and lifelong learning especially for the disadvantaged groups by focusing on providing digitalized materials to learners in higher educations.
